Overview of Sony SNC-DH220
The Sony SNC-DH220 fixed dome IP camera is ideal for surveillance of indoor areas requiring HD video in changing light environments. The camera has a maximum resolution of 3MP, capturing detailed footage for identification, and is also HD1080p compliant, providing clear 16:9 aspect video at 30fps. High quality images can also be captured 24 hours a day using the camera's switchable infrared(IR)-cut filter, with color images during the day and IR-sensitive monochrome video at night (IR lighting required for low-light monitoring).
The camera provides many features designed to speed up installation, such as the Easy Focus and Easy Zoom system which adjusts the camera focus and zoom electronically at the touch of a button. Additionally, installers can see live footage by connecting handheld monitors to the camera's analog video port, helping them with the camera aim, while Power over Ethernet (PoE) reduces the required cabling as power and data are transmitted over the same network cable (PoE source required, selectable above).
The camera can also intelligently reduce false alarms to maximize recordings, using the integrated DEPA intelligent motion detection, sensing and evaluating objects in view rather than conventional motion. Additionally, the camera comes bundled with free Sony Real Shot Manager Lite recording software, storing live video with no additional purchase.
